Cooler Master, a global leader in computer components and peripherals, today announced its partnership with Overlay.live. Together, Cooler Master and Overlay.live have engineered a solution to allow users to access and customize data coming from the microcontroller (MCU) of the MasterWatt Maker Digital Power Supply (PSU.)

Community Driven

Cooler Master and Overlay.live began collaboration in June of 2017, during Computex, in Taipei, Taiwan. Overlay.live, with its roots in the overclocking community, introduced to Cooler Master a solution which aims to bring telemetry to the masses. This collaboration resulted in Cooler Master opening communication access to the MCU within the power supply to communities and customers using the MasterWatt Maker Digital PSU.

By providing the library files to the Cooler Master community, members will be able to create functions that can read power outputs, voltage outputs and temperatures.
