During the Presentation Oculus announced that they want to release a plattform like Steam/Origin/U-Play and others. With this program called ‘Oculus Home’ players will be able to start their virtual reality games, see what friends playing and buy games. For this you do not have to remove the headset. The consumer package will launches in the first quarter of 2016. This package will include the the headset and the external sensor for positional tracking. It also will include a wireless Xbox One controller and a adapter. The headphones on the Rift’s consumer model can be removed or replaced.
