AMD has unveiled significant updates to The Gaming Evolved client, its game optimization and video sharing platform found on tens of millions of gamers’ PCs worldwide, introducing several new gameplay recording features for AMD gamers. The most notable feature is the automatic creation of pre-edited, ready-to-share highlight videos of your best moments from a League of Legends or Counter-Strike:GO session.
.
Here’s how the new AMD Gaming Evolved video platform works:
.
- Recording begins automatically when you play; no need to remember to turn it on
- Captures the entire session (like a replay) so you’ll never miss a moment and automatically deletes older videos to save storage space
- Drop a bookmark with a hotkey whenever something cool happens to make a 30 sec clip
- Records your webcam, mic, and mouse clicks
- Includes a video editor so you can showcase only the best parts
- Create highlight reels simply by selecting multiple clips
.
AMD Gaming Evolved gameplay recorder (Plays.tv) also features seamless integration with games such as League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (more titles coming soon) — when you play these games, the AMD Gaming Evolved client uses live match data to automatically create highlights of your kills, deaths, killstreaks, bomb plants, baron kills, etc. completely pre-edited, ready to watch or share instantly. Post your video to Plays.tv — the only community dedicated to every gamer’s highlights — and Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, etc. with a single click. You can also use the Plays.tv chrome extension to easily capture and share your favorite Twitch stream highlights.
