The release date for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain has been leaked. The NeoGaf peoples have fished an MGS5 video file out of IGN’s infrastructure which features an outro mentioning a “world wide release” on September 1.

The video shows the creator Hideo Kojima talking up the game. “With Metal Gear Solid 5, I’m finally closing the loop on that saga. Even if the Metal Gear saga continues, to me this is the last Metal Gear,” he says there.

We hop on an official announcement during the GDC. If this will be really the last one we hope on a Game’s Collection.
