The developer Sony Online Entertainemnt announced on the PlayStation Blog that the closed beta for the PlayStation 4 version of Planetside 2 will begin on January 20. Sony targeted the beta to launch in 2014, but it was delayed. The developer used the time to “refining, optimizing, and creating an amazing console version.”

“We want the massive battles to make your heart pound and adrenaline pump, so share your thoughts with us,” Sony says.

You can sign up for a chance to play the Planetside 2 PS4 beta through the game’s website.  Sony says, players will be invited in chronological order based on when they signed up. Comment below.
