TERA: Fate of Arun – New Content for Max Level 65 Players

Gameforge and developers Bluehole are releasing a remake of the former starting zone, the Isle of Dawn, with the latest content update to the action MMORPG TERA: Fate of Arun. The small floating continent offers new challenges to max level 65 players, in the form of high-level BAMs (Big Ass Monsters) and remarkable rewards. The recently introduced end-game dungeon Forsaken Island will also be augmented with a hard mode. Players familiar with the Dreadspire instance from earlier can look forward to its return with even more terrifying bosses.

Two Islands Full of New Challenges

Budding adventurers used to begin their journeys on the Isle of Dawn, however the last big patch replaced this zone with Stepstone Isle. The re-release of the former beginners’ continent is divided into three areas of varying difficulty, aimed at max level 65 players. In Velika, the human capital, players can accept the quest ‘Ominous News’ and be tasked with travelling to the island to vanquish the level 65 to 70 monsters. Rewards can be earned in the form of new equipment, accessories and other items, which can be exchanged with the Vanguard Initiative for Underdawn, Dawnfall and Dawnstorm Tokens. The rule is simple: the stronger the BAM, the more valuable the token.

The Forsaken Island is also getting a fresh lick of paint. From now on, the dungeon also offers a challenging hard mode to complete, at the same time providing an improved chance of picking up the hotly sought after Desolarus Heartbeat, required for crafting the best gear currently available in the game.

Ascend the Dreadspire

.

The Dreadspire, a dungeon in Tempest Reach in Westonia, is opening its gates once more. Five players must battle their way through this tower, clearing level after level of ever more challenging bosses. Whilst floors 1 to 15 offer a comparatively moderate difficulty level and three treasure chests, adventurers braving the dangers of floors 16 to 22 will have to keep their wits about them as they decide whether to cut and run with the loot they’ve earned so far, or take the bull by the horns and venture on to the next level. There’s plenty of incentive to press on: with a bit of luck, players might find the rare mount “Smolder” or a pair of “Blazing Wings” on levels 20 or 22 respectively.
